Michel  Bezman    :    Biography

Born in Paris, France, Michel Bezman Professor of Architecture and Collage Artist,
is established in Houston ,Texas, with his family.
He practiced Architecture in France, West Africa, Canada and the United States.
In addition, he published extensively in the field of Architectural Research.
Michel Bezman taught Architecture at the University of Montreal, Laval University
( Quebec ), Rice University and the University of Houston where he also taught a
collage studio. He shares his active life between his two passions: Architecture and
Collage.
He started his Collage Work in Paris, in the 60s, developing the visual expression
of his iconography. For a long time he kept his Collage Work to himself, satisfied
only by the joy it brought him.


HONORS
1996        : Received the 1996 Education Award for "Outstanding
                    Contributions  to Architecture" from the University of
                    Houston Architecture Alumni Association.
1987        : Texas Star Award, KUHT ( PBS ), Houston.
1983        : Selected by the American Art Archives, at the Smitho-
                    nian Institution, Washington, D.C.
1982        : Received the Paddington Award.
